The two International Trade Exhibitions InterOilGas'2004 and Motor Fueling Complex'2004 displayed a full range of services, from oil and gas recovery to petroleum products supply. Both exhibitions were opened yesterday on the ground of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine".

Cassakov, Director of Petroleum Producing and Refining Industry Department under the Ministry of Fuel and Power Engineering of Ukraine M. Yevdoschuk, Director of DerzhAutoTransNDIProject under the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine A. Redzuk, Director General of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" V. Ponomarenko, President and Executive Director of Association of Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers V. Lyaschov and Y. Khazan, respectively, Department Chief of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine B. Nechai opened both events.

"The 4th International InterOilGas Trade Exhibition is focused, first of all, on the exchange of experience and advanced achievements in petroleum industry. Furthermore, its participants has a chance to generate long-lasting relations", V. Tarashevsky stated while opening the exhibition. Director General of AUTOEXPO N. Dyatlova informed that the exhibition activity had become part and parcel of the technological expansion of the branch, and the fourth edition of InterOilGas'2004 has proved the growing interest of international companies towards Ukrainian oil market. In particular, some leading oil companies operating in the market of Ukraine exhibit. These are Naftogas of Ukraine, TNK Ukraine, LukOil Ukraine and many other Russian and overseas oil companies.

Yesterday, a ceremonial opening of the 10th International AutoTechService'2004 Trade Exhibition took place.

The Immediate Post Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine V. Cassakov, Department Chief of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine B. Nechai, Director of DerzhAutoTransNDIProject under the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine A. Redzuk, Director General of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" V. Ponomarenko, President and Executive Director of Association of Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers V. Lyaschov and Y. Khazan, respectively, opened the event.

"The automotive industry is now one of the important sectors of the governmental policy", the Immediate Post Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine V. Cassakov emphasized. According to him, it recently has become obvious that Ukraine with confidence win a place among the world motor vehicle manufacturers. However, there are still many problems in our country relating to auto service. "The measures like AutoTechService, in particular, are focused on the solution of these problems, because it gives an opportunity to size up the present achievements in this field and outline the trends of their further development", V. Cassakov stated. Not only the produce of the best Ukrainian manufacturers, but also the make of international companies displayed. "For the first time, the production of 7 Polish and 4 Italian spare parts manufacturing companies was displayed at the AutoTechService'2004", Director General of Autoexpo N. Dyatlova informed.

Taking the floor, Director of DerzhAutoTransNDIProject under the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine A. Redzuk said that the measures like AutoTechService reflect the current state of the branch and its prospects. It is generally acknowledged that any further development of motor transport in any country would fail without the expansion of service sector. Therefore, this exhibition is part and parcel of the national policy in this field: some drastic changes legislative and practical are planned on the governmental level in 2004.

At the press conference dedicated to the opening of InterOilGas'2004, Motor Fueling Complex'2004 and AutoTechService'2004 Trade Exhibitions, the Department Chief of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine B. Nechai said that about 160 thousand more automobiles appeared in Ukraine in the last year. According to B. Nechai, over 5,600,000 automobiles are in Ukraine now. Such a fast growth of automobiles in number proves the quick pace of development of both motor vehicle manufacture and supporting industries.

It is a pleasure to see that the number of exhibitors and the quality of exhibits rose as compared to the last year's exhibition. "Their quality is so high that they are able to compete with international displays", B. Nechai said while visiting to exhibit.

The attendees of the press conference are convicted of the large scale of these events being evidence that the development of automotive industry is now one of the key aspects of the national economic growth.
