2 International BuildTech'2004 Trade Exhibition

The recent positive changes in the economy of Ukraine are mainly linked with the development of industrial and civil engineering as well as with the construction and upgrade of extractive industries (quarrying, mine engineering, petroleum production and refining). The most turbulent rate of growth is notable in the road building and transport sectors that include new motor and railways, railway and river-boat stations, marine passenger terminals, ports, airports, petroleum transshipment terminals, boundary transport terminals. Foundation of the international gas-transport consortium, which plans to carry out a large-scaled upgrading of Ukraine's pipeline system, is worth a particular notice.

The above volumes and rates are hard to be realized without up-to-date construction machinery, gears and equipment and without application of state-of-the-art structural technologies.

To 2003, there was not any trade exhibition project, which would present to expert judgment the best specimens of construction and special machines and equipment and demonstrate their peculiarities and enable to compare their performance. The BuildTech'2004 is called to bridge this gap and be a genuine forum of construction, road-building, mining and special-purpose machinery, equipment and technologies.
